I can come in on-the-ground-floor of your podcast to:

• help flesh out a creative strategy

• build out an infrastructure for how to launch and run the project

• be responsible for executing the strategy (e.g. managing the team, making sure episodes meet quality standards, giving feedback, manage deadlines and budgets, etc.) 

PRODUCER

I can come onboard your team to produce episodes—from story idea to final cut ready for mixing & mastering—on deadline and aligned with your creative strategy. This can include:

• researching a story

• coordinating and recording interviews—either in the field or remotely

• transcribing and coding interviews

• writing episode scripts

• recording narration

• creating episode rough cuts with music and/or sound effects

• coordinating the review process and incorporating feedback into rough cuts

• packaging final files for mixing & mastering 

DIRECTOR

I can work with your on-mic talent—including your host, narrator, and any other featured voices—to help them perfect their presence and technique to get the best quality reads from your recording sessions, including:

• vocal warm-up exercises to prepare to record

• proper mic technique

• how to get comfortable behind the mic

• feedback after read takes on pacing, clarity, inflection, tone

STORY EDITOR

I can come in as another pair of eyes throughout the production process to:

​

• help flesh out the creative vision for an episode at the beginning

• review a script and give feedback about ways to make it tighter and more compelling

• listen to an episode rough cut and give feedback about ways to clarify and strengthen the story

AUDIO EDITOR

I can take your raw audio and your script and turn it into a clean and professional rough cut episode that includes interview clips, narration, music, and/or sound effects.

SCRIPTWRITER

Have all your raw audio but don't know how to thread it all together into a story? I can take what you have and craft it into a tight script that's written for the ear and that will keep the audience engaged and listening.

TRANSCRIBER

I can take your raw interview and field audio files and accurately transcribe them to help in your production process and to use in your promotional materials.

ENGINEER

Need someone to make sure you get the cleanest recordings from your interviews and narration reads? To make sure you get high-quality audio, I can use my equipment or set up yours to record:

• remote interviews

• in-person interviews

• in-studio narration sessions

RESEARCHER

I can support your production team by gathering relevant resources, summarizing them, and compiling them into a research brief to help inform the reporting and scriptwriting process.
